The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Link Road (including Scenic Hill Tunnel) is a right-driving expressway. Motorists should keep to the right most lane unless traffic signs or road markings indicate they may do otherwise, or when motorists intend to overtake or turn left or when motorists pass stationary vehicles on the road if necessary.
Using the bridge, it would be 3 times immigration checks (enter Hong Kong, exit Hong Kong, enter Macau), plus 4 legs of buses: B4 from HKIA to Hong Kong Port, cross-boundary shuttle from Hong Kong Port to Macau Port, Macau bus from Macau Port to Macau Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, then casino bus from MOHFT to hotel. Would not make sense at all.
The shuttle bus travels between, but not beyond, the border control points at each end of the bridge and takes about 40 minutes. Before you can board the bus you have to clear exit formalities in the passenger clearance building at Hong Kong Port and after disembarking to have to clear entry formalities at Macau.
